Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 3.11% or 2.80 points to trade at 94.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 2.99% or 0.56 points to end at 19.27 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 2.50% or 8.20 points to 336.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 2.64% or 1.10 points to trade at 38.70 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 2.30% or 3.30 points to end at 140.10 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 2.19% or 32.50 points to 1,454.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 414 to 345 and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.83% or 0.64 to $76.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.83% or 0.67 to hit $80.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 3.66 to trade at $2,682.26 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.52, while USD/SEK fell 0.36% to 11.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 109.28.
