Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.26%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 5.09% or 4,460.00 points to trade at 92,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 4.86% or 500.00 points to end at 10,780.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) was up 2.78% or 400.00 points to 14,800.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO), which fell 1.87% or 35.00 points to trade at 1,835.00 at the close. Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) declined 1.87% or 70.00 points to end at 3,680.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) was down 1.52% or 220.00 points to 14,300.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 1 to 0.

Shares in Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) rose to all time highs; rising 5.09% or 4,460.00 to 92,000.00.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.37% or 1.20 to $328.35 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 6.39% or 671.00 to hit $11,173.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 16.90 to trade at $2,731.80 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.52% to 4,323.35, while BRL/COP rose 0.26% to 716.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.18% at 107.91.
